A Sober Beginning is an open AA meeting focused on helping newcomers leap into action implementing the solution to their problems with alcohol as described in the first 164 pages of the Big Book. Our meeting is focused on the solution rather than the problem. We encourage constructive feedback. We ask that attendees are attentive, respectful and treat our meeting as they would work or school. If you can’t quit completely, can’t control your drinking, and feel miserable when you stop — we have a solution.
